Lingezegen is een landschapspark tussen Arnhem en Nijmegen. De 60 boerderijen kunnen zich hier transformeren tot multifunctionele bedrijven met zorg, directe verkoop, educatie en recreatie.
Oorspronkelijke landschappen en de connectie tussen productie en consumptie kunnen hersteld worden door bestaande agrarische bedrijven te transformeren, waarbij participatie, ecologische en sociale duurzaamheid en multifunctionaliteit integraal onderdeel van de formule zijn.
Dit betekent ook vergroening van de steden en het verplaatsen van stedelijke functies als zorg en deels ook educatie naar buiten.
De introductie van permacultuur in diverse varianten en op meerdere schaalniveaus wordt als uitgangspunt genomen. Permacultuur is een wetenschap voor het ontwerpen van de menselijke leefomgeving op een manier die ecologisch duurzaam en economisch stabiel is. Complexe ecosystemen in de natuur dienen hierbij als voorbeeld.

The starting point was the introduction of permaculture in various forms and at multiple scales. Permaculture is a science for the design of the human environment in a way that is environmentally sustainable and economically stable. Complex ecosystems in nature are a serve as an example.
